Our Story

A family farm, a herd of Wagyu cattle, and a market at the end of the drive.

The Hollow Farm & Meat Market opened in 2025 right on Dzugan Farms, our family’s Wagyu cattle operation on Snodgrass Road. It started with the question friends and neighbors kept asking: “Where can we buy your beef?”

The answer was to build a store on the farm itself. Stand on the porch and you can see the finishing cattle and the breeding herd out in the pasture — the very animals behind the beef in our case. Inside, you can look over the cuts, ask questions, and take home beef raised by people you know. We raise the Wagyu and the chicken ourselves; the Angus beef, pork, honey, cheese and other goods on the shelves come from neighboring farms we know and trust.

We raise our cattle slowly and feed them well, because that’s what makes Wagyu beef what it is. We run the market the same way: no hurry, no hard sell, just honest food and a friendly conversation.

What We Stand For

Raised in Sight of the Store

Our cattle are born, raised and finished on the pastures around the market — no shortcuts, and nothing hidden.

Know Your Farmer

When you shop here, you’re buying from the family that did the work. Ask us anything.

Neighbors First

What we don’t raise ourselves — Angus beef, pork, honey, cheese — comes from neighboring farms, not a distributor.
